Where individual and families get the support they need to heal and grow!

Myra Hollis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with a passion for community-centered, culturally affirming mental health care. A graduate of San Diego State University’s Marriage and Family Therapy program, Myra has 10 plus years of experience working across community mental health, schools, youth-serving programs, and private practice. Her work has included supporting Black and Brown communities, with a particular focus on women and young people.

Myra believes that clients are the authors of their own lives and approaches her work with warmth, honesty, and collaboration. Her clinical foundation includes Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused approaches, and trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with an emphasis on helping people navigate life transitions, strengthen self-esteem, and feel seen, heard, and understood.

As a Clinical Supervisor, Myra is committed to supporting therapists in providing thoughtful, compassionate, and culturally responsive care. She values the power of connection and community and is honored to help support the clinicians who create intentional spaces for women to connect, reflect, and heal.

If you’re looking for a therapist who leads with compassion, emotional safety, and genuine connection, you’re in the right place. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teenagers, and adults in a variety of settings. Those experiences have shaped my belief that therapy is not a one size fits all practice and that every person deserves a space where they can feel seen, heard, and supported.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client centered. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up as your full self without feeling like you have to perform, have all the answers, or figure everything out on your own.

I work with adults navigating relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, identity, family dynamics, emotional overwhelm, and patterns they’re ready to better understand or change. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you while also identifying practical ways to move forward.

In our work together, you can expect compassion, curiosity, honesty, and support without judgment. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what decisions to make, but to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your voice, and create a life and relationships that feel more aligned with who you are.

Eyvonne Burgin is a dedicated Care Manager with Beautiful Butterfly Community, committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenging circumstances and work toward greater stability and self-sufficiency, where individuals and families get the support they need to heal and grow.

Beautiful Butterfly Community Corp. was founded in February 2021 by Willishia Johnson, LMFT, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and proud native of South Central Los Angeles.

With a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families, Willishia has witnessed firsthand the ways mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, and family conflict can impact entire family systems. These experiences inspired her to create a space where families could access support, build healthier relationships, and begin the process of healing together.

Willishia believes that healing is not a journey that should have to be navigated alone. Her vision for Beautiful Butterfly Community Corp. is to create welcoming, empowering spaces where individuals and families can feel seen, supported, connected, and equipped to grow.

Through community programming, healing-centered events, life-skills education, wellness initiatives, and supportive resources, Willishia is committed to helping communities move from simply surviving to healing, thriving, and becoming the fullest versions of themselves.

At the heart of Beautiful Butterfly is Willishia’s belief that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and transform—and sometimes, all we need is a safe space and a supportive community to help us spread our wings. 🦋
